Kareem Sakka started his career in the First Interstate Bank's headquarters in Los Angeles by offering financial services to Fortune 500 companies. He is currently the director of Mount Asset Management Ltd, London, where he provides asset management and accounting services. His resume spans big names he has worked with, such as Wells Fargo, Citibank, and Capital Trust where he acquired expertise in risk management and corporate and project financing. Kareem eventually dedicated himself to non-profit work in the Middle East, after years in real estate advisory and asset management. Inspired by the Arab Spring, he started Raseef22 in 2013, an independent media platform presenting news and views relevant to the Arab world. Raseef22 fills a cultural gap in the Arabic-language media landscape, acknowledging both local values and global perspectives. He holds a BA. in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MBA from Georgetown University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School.
