In an interview with a Moroccan television channel this week, Yazami, the inventor of the ground-breaking graphite anode for lithium-ion batteries, remarked on the announcement of Morocco's building of a cobalt facility. He said that while the technique for recycling cobalt was developed 20 years ago, the business has acquired substantial pace in recent years due to increased concerns about raw material shortages.
