Dr. Samar Al-Hamoud was chosen to head the WHO Cancer Research Arbitration Committee. Al-Hamoud is the first Middle East president to take this position, which is a recognized reference for laboratory, clinical or epidemiological cancer research. Dr. Samar continues to function as a consultant on colorectal surgery and the rectum at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh.
