Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection will soon be launching an environmental police force. This proposition was made by the TAKREEM 2018 Environmental Development and Sustainability Laureate Majdah Aburas and it was through her efforts that this new police force shall be launched.  Aburas talks to Rotana TV and explains how her proposition saw the light. Now officers will be spread across the country to ensure the protection of its environment and wildlife will protect Saudi Arabia's environment from illegal hunting, deforestation, and other activities that are detrimental to it.
