Ghada Hammouda, Takreem Selection board member was named among Forbes’s 50 Impactful Marketing and Communications Professionals in The Middle East. Of the 50 people who feature on the list, 22 are women. Egypt is the most represented Arab country with nine entries on the list, followed by India with seven and Saudi Arabia with six entries. The companies that these 50 professionals represent have a combined marketing budget of over $750 million, with the food and beverage, telecommunications and automobiles sectors holding the biggest budgets. Ghada is the Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer of Qalaa Holdings. Ghada Hammouda has over 30 years of experience in marketing consultancy, conflict resolution, and strategic business planning. She is also a community development activist. Before joining Qalaa Holdings as the Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Marketing Communications, she was a senior executive and consultant for top firms such as IBM, AT&T International, Proctor & Gamble, and several others. She is an SME Mentor at Endeavor, as well as the Chair of Advancement Committee at Cairo American College. A vocal advocate and frequent speaker on issues related to responsible investing, crisis communication, sustainability, gender equality, youth empowerment, and education, she has always been active in community development. Ghada Hammouda was also Listed as one of the top 50 women in Egypt for 2016.
