Since the beginning of the Lebanese protests, revolution, in October 2019, the founder of TAKREEM, Ricardo Karam, has used his different digital platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) to spread positive and encouraging messages to counterbalance the flood of negative news which filled the social media. Using testimonials of inspiring individuals and building on personal experience, Karam shared stories that provoke positivity, hope, and hope. These videos trended all over social media with endless comments of people sharing their own stories of resilience and hope in time of difficulty.
