Dr. Tarek Kettaneh is a senior lecturer in Entrepreneurship, Family Business and Venture capital at the Olayan School of Business, American University in Beirut.  Dr. Kettaneh has been lecturing for 14 years. He has also consulted for SMEs on turnaround and growth strategies and has advised executives on financial transactions. He serves on the boards of two privately held firms, he consults with a number of others and writes case studies for his students. After 12 years of senior management experience in a multinational multi product line family business, he has changed careers and become a venture capital investor in the USA for close to a decade. In his last position prior to joining AUB, he headed a $50 million private equity fund in Luxemburg targeting investment in Lebanese firms. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MS in Engineering from MIT. He is fluent in English, French, German, Arabic, Persian and Italian.
