Dr Zeinab Mirza is a University Lecturer, a Political Adviser and Commentator. She holds a Doctorate from the Sorbonne du Nord, Paris, France.She taught at the American University of Beirut, the Lebanese American University, and the American University of Science and Technology since 2003, lecturing on Political Science, International Relations, International Political Economy, Diplomacy, Human Rights and Public Relations.She also promoted many student internships and is the academic adviser to two AUB students’ clubs including AUBMUN (Model United Nations Club) that won many international awards.As a Political Advisor, she served the mission of the Chairperson of the International Affairs Committee at the Lebanese Parliament, and coordinated the joint initiatives between the Lebanese Parliament, the American University of Beirut, and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy in serving the curriculum of university- students in Citizenship Education. This resulted in the publication of “Policy Making and the Lebanese Parliament” (London and Beirut: Westminster Foundation for Democracy, in association with the American University of Beirut, 2020). She is also a co-author of another book chapter and has been a guest speaker in many international forums and interviewed by many TV programs.Her public relations and networking experience covers multiple stakeholders, this includes diplomatic missions in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Lebanon, as well as International NGOs, Human Rights activist groups, Parliamentary election monitoring agencies, and Public cultural activism.She is very active on Social Media in the service of public civil life and academia. Moreover, Dr Zeinab Mirza is a jewelry designer and owner of the charity-based brand ‘A New York Affair’.
