Professor Abdel Magid Salem Hamouda has a stellar record as an inventor. His work falls under several categories and is characterized by its appropriateness to given locations or circumstances. Whether dealing with road safety equipment, cutting-edge cooling systems or energy saving devices, Professor Hamouda’s solutions are both innovative and situation specific. Professor Abdel Magid Salem Hamouda is the holder of a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dublin. Professor Hamouda has received many prestigious awards for his work, he was the Gold Medal winner at the British Invention Show (twice); the Gold Medal winner at the UPM Invention and Research Exhibition; the Silver Medal winner at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, and many more. He was also selected by the OIC as one of the top 200 scientists in the Muslim world. One of Professor Hamouda’s most important contributions has been his work in Qatar on aluminium and magnesium alloys, which will have a long-term impact on energy saving and reduced carbon dioxide emissions in the construction of lighter cars and airplanes.
