TAKREEM selection board member Caroline Fattal was named among Forbes 50 over 50 list for 2024. In 2022, at 50, Fattal became the first female board chair for the Fattal Group, the Beirut-based conglomerate founded by her great-grandfather in 1897. But this isn’t Fattal’s only job: In 2017, she founded the NGO Stand For Women to advocate for women’s economic empowerment and gender equality in the MEA region. Following the 2020 Beirut explosion, she launched the “Marion Fund,” an initiative that helped more than 250 women-owned small- and medium-sized companies affected by the blast to return to business.
