Salah Khalil is a social entrepreneur, serving as the Founding Executive Chairman of Macat International, a company that develops academic content in the social sciences and humanities. Following his role as a consultant to the CEO and Board of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy, he founded the Alexandria Trust, a London-based charity dedicated to restoring world-class education in the Arab region. Salah has achieved significant success in business in Egypt and the Middle East. He holds an MSc in political sociology from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Management from the University of South Carolina. Salah serves on the board of several organizations and was previously a founding member of The Egyptian Competitiveness Council, a member of the AUC Business School Advisory Board and the Business Sector Secretariat, and a founding contributor/architect of Egypt's Vision 2030.
