HE Sheikha Alanoud bint Hamad Al-Thani serves as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Business Officer of Qatar Financial Centre (QFC). In these roles, she plays a pivotal role in realizing the QFC’s mission to elevate Doha into a premier global financial and commercial center, attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and fostering a sustainable local economy. Alanoud's journey at QFC began as the Vice President of Strategic Alliances at the CEO Office, progressing to Associate Director of Economic Affairs for the MENA region. Appointed Managing Director of Business Development in 2017, she subsequently assumed her current role as Chief Business Officer, overseeing Business Development and Client Affairs departments. Prior to QFC, Alanoud served as Qatar Representative and Director of Silatech, expanding its reach across the Arab region, facilitating youth employment in the private sector. Recognized with accolades such as the Young Arab Achiever in 2011 and the Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2021, Alanoud is a graduate of the London School of Economics, Oxford University, and HEC Paris, and has authored reports on private sector development and FDI.
